Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna.

According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic are interested in signing McKenna from Scottish Premiership rivals Aberdeen in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the Glasgow giants have made a bid of £5 million for the 22-year-old defender.

Aberdeen, though, according to the report, have turned down that offer and want £10m for the Scotland international

The Evening Express, though, has claimed that Aberdeen have not received a £5m bid from Celtic for McKenna.

Meanwhile, Celtic manager Neil Lennon has told The Daily Record that star midfielder Scott Brown will be fit for the club’s Champions League qualifiers.

The former Scotland international midfielder has recovered from a toe injury he suffered towards the end of the past season.

Brown is an important player for the Hoops and will be crucial in their quest to feature in the group stage of the Champions League next season.

Lennon told The Daily Record about Brown: “Scott saw a specialist on Thursday and he’s been given the green light to start training.”
