Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are reportedly interested in Daniel Ceballos of Real Madrid.

According to AS, Tottenham Hotspur have spoken to Daniel Ceballos, but Arsenal are interested in signing the Real Madrid central midfielder.

It has been reported by the Spanish publication that Tottenham are the best placed club to secure the services of Ceballos in the summer transfer window.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are reported to have even spoken to the 22-year-old Spain international.

According to AS, Madrid will not listen to any offers less than €50 million (£44.75m), and Tottenham’s North London rivals Arsenal are willing to pay what the Spanish and European giants want for the youngster.

Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal?

Tottenham are a club on the up and are in better health than Arsenal, at least on the pitch.

While Spurs will compete for the Premier League title next season and feature in the Champions League, the Gunners will be in the Europa League and will have to fight hard to finish in the top four.

It is hard to see Arsenal win the race to the signing of Ceballos ahead of their bitter North London rivals Tottenham.
