Leeds United made an announcement today, but some fans feel tricked.
Some Leeds United fans on Twitter are angry with a club announcement on Twitter.
The Elland Road club revealed a two-year sponsorship deal this afternoon, but the wording of the tweet has upset some Leeds supporters.
United began the message by writing 'LUFC are delighted to announce....' in a photo with Kiko Casilla, and some fans initially thought that it was confirmation of a new signing.
The Whites are yet to sign anybody in this summer's transfer window, with much of the speculation centering around the potential departures of big names like Jack Clarke and Kalvin Phillips.
Leeds fans, whose side are linked with the likes of Helder Costa and Gigi Buffon, are desperate for arrivals, and here's how some of them reacted to the announcement tweet.
What’s the point in saying delighted to announce fully thought we had our first signing— Luke townend (@Luketownend2) June 24, 2019
You what?!— Linus Fransson Mörk (@LinusMork) June 24, 2019
And so it starts...— Daniel Baggott (@Baggott04) June 24, 2019
Lufc are delighted to announce...
That nothing at all has changed.
There’s only one thing I was to see between “LUFC are delighted to announce” and a picture of Casilla and it’s not an extension of any sort.— Ashley Oakes (@Oakes_89) June 24, 2019
That's not costa or buffon.— christo (@ctrlitt) June 24, 2019
It would be nice for you to announce some bloody signings— Elite Airport 24/7 (@eliteairport247) June 24, 2019

Clarke is heavily expected to join Tottenham Hotspur soon and that'll enhance Leeds' ability to sign players, even if the up-front fee is only around £8.5 million [The Sun].
Marcelo Bielsa's side finished third last season and reinforcements are vital if United are to win Premier League promotion next term.
