According to Spanish newspaper Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla's transfer guru Monchi is heading to England for talks with Newcastle United about potential deals.
Sevilla have brought Monchi back to the club from Roma, and he will now look to strengthen the squad for new boss Julen Lopetegui.
Sevilla have already added Diego Carlos and Munas Dabbur, but another defender and another attacker could still be on the radar for Monchi and co.
It's believed that Monchi is set to travel to England for negotiations with Newcastle United, and the report notes that Florian Lejeune and Ayoze Perez may well be on the radar.
Sevilla wanted French defender Lejeune last summer, as he had worked with then-boss Pablo Machin at Girona before heading to Newcastle.
The Frenchman has been a favourite of Rafael Benitez even with his injury problems, but with a number of other defenders linked this summer, you do wonder whether Lejeune may be sacrificed at the age of 28 for a younger defender, especially with Federico Fernandez in the ranks.
As for Perez, losing him would be a huge blow. The 25-year-old enjoyed a stunning end to the season with eight goals in his final 10 games, thriving alongside Miguel Almiron and behind Salomon Rondon.
He looks to be really hitting his best form now, and whilst Sevilla can offer European football, selling the Spaniard would send out entirely the wrong message in a huge summer for Newcastle.
