Celtic reportedly want Emmanuel Adebayor.

Emmanuel Adebayor is on the radar of Celtic, according to The Sun, with the 35-year-old forward a free agent at the moment.

The former Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal forward is without a club at the moment, having parted company with İstanbul Basaksehir recently.

West Ham United, Sheffield United and Watford are also reported to be interested in the former AS Monaco and Manchester City forward.

The Togo international is past his prime, but he can certainly do a good job in Scotland and be an asset for the Scottish Premiership outfit.

Celtic fans, though, have already seen first hand what Adebayor can do. Back in August 2014, the forward played for Tottenham against the Hoops in a pre-season friendly. The forward was among the goalscorers, as Spurs hammered Celtic 6-1.

Adebayor’s experience in big games would be instrumental in Celtic’s quest to progress to the group stage of the Champions League qualifiers next month via the qualifiers.

Celtic will be aiming to win the domestic treble in Scotland again next season.
