Is Elif Elmas on his way to the Premier League? Spurs reportedly want the Fenerbahce wonderkid.

Tottenham Hotspur are attempting to kill two birds with one stone this summer by signing Elif Elmas while getting rid of Vincent Janssen in the process.

According to CalcioNapoli24, Spurs have stepped up their pursuit of the coveted Fenerbahce midfielder by offering £17 million with Janssen included as part of a potential deal.

A 19-year-old who has already picked up 10 caps for the Macedonian national team, Elmas is a bonafide wonderkid and continues to attract interest from clubs all over Europe as a result.

Napoli are very keen and have been for some time but CalcioNapoli24 claim that Tottenham are looking to ramp up their own pursuit as the beaten Champions League finalists look to sign a player for the first time since January 2018.

The report stats that Spurs have offered Fenerbahce £17 plus Janssen in an attempt to bring one of the continent’s biggest talents to North London – while getting rid of a misfit Dutch striker who has been nothing short of a disaster since his big-money move from AZ Alkmaar three years ago.

Janssen did spend the 2017/18 season on loan at Fenerbahce but he scored just four goals in an injury-hit spell. Would they want him back? Possibly not.
