West Ham United are said to have enquired over taking Scott McTominay from Manchester United.

West Ham United fans have had a mixed reaction to the news that they have asked for Scott McTominay from Manchester United.

Sky Sports suggest that West Ham are interested in the Scot, with United looking to buy Issa Diop from them.

West Ham’s inquiry may simply have been to scare Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s side away from Diop, who they don’t want to sell.

But West Ham fans have still had a mixed response to the transfer update.

While some Hammers supporters think that McTominay would be a good addition to Manuel Pellegrini’s squad, others are far less keen.

West Ham may well be on the look out for another defensive midfielder this summer, but it would be a shock if they got hold of McTominay.

Solksjaer has made it clear that he is a fan of the powerful midfielder, who has played a fairly central role at Old Trafford since his arrival.
