Tottenham are being linked with a swoop for Leeds United’s Jack Clarke.

Jack Clarke of Leeds United

Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with a move for Leeds United’s Jack Clarke, with The Yorkshire Evening Post first reporting their interest.

The Whites could land a big cash fee for Clarke, but there are other options for Leeds.

Leeds are within their rights to attempt to sign a player into the deal, at least on loan.

Here is a look at three players they should discuss with Tottenham…

Cameron Carter-Vickers

USA international Cameron Carter-Vickers is running out of time to establish himself at Tottenham.

He is well down the pecking order and Leeds might stand a chance of landing the centre-back on a permanent deal.

At only 21, he has loan experience at Sheffield United, Ipswich Town and Swansea City. Add him to a promotion contender and he could really blossom.

Juan Foyth

Tottenham Hotspur's Juan Foyth

Leeds would only really be able to get Foyth on loan, but it remains possible if Spurs are able to hang onto Toby Alderweireld this summer.

Foyth made good progress last season, but needs to kick on. He is only 21, and just 10 Premier League starts to his name isn’t a lot.

Marcelo Bielsa could make a pitch that a 46 game season in the Championship could be useful to his fellow Argentine.

Josh Onomah

England under-20 World Cup winner Onomah is an enigma. He has struggled to tap into his potential during inconsistent loan spells at Aston Villa and Sheffield Wednesday.

A fresh start is needed and Bielsa is the type of manager who can work out how to get the best out of the versatile midfielder.

It would be a gamble, but Leeds should take a chance on a loan deal if pushed into selling Clarke. Tottenham may even consider letting him leave on a permanent.
