West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking Issa Diop with a move to Manchester United.

According to Sky Sports, United are interested in signing Diop from Premier League rivals West Ham and are willing to pay £45 million as transfer fee and throw a player in the deal.

The Mirror, though, has claimed that the London club do not want to sell the central defender and want to retain his services, but Sky Sports insist that the Hammers will do business for £60m.

Diop is one of the best and most promising young central defenders in the Premier League, and West Ham simply have to hold onto the 22-year-old.

True, if United are ready to pay £60m or more, then it is going to be hard for the Hammers to turn it down, but the London outfit cannot be seen as a ‘selling club’ if they are to challenge for the Premier League top six in the coming years.
