Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez is said to be keen on Ismaila Sarr, even though his future isn’t sorted at St. James’ Park.

Rennes have knocked back a £27 million bid for the winger already for an unnamed club, but Newcastle are said to be planning to improve on that bid.
Rafael Benitez’s side reportedly rate Sarr highly and feel that he could be a great addition at St. James’ Park.
It seems questionable whether Newcastle would be considering such vast bids at this time.
Newcastle have never before paid a fee of this nature and them doing so when their manager’s future isn’t sorted seems unlikely.

Benitez has just 12 days remaining on his contract at Newcastle, and still hasn’t committed his future.
There is no doubting that Sarr would be quality for Newcastle though, as he is one of the quickest attackers in world football.
The 21-year-old scored eight goals and claimed seven assists in Ligue 1 next term, and would make a very exciting addition to Newcastle’s team.
