Liverpool fans on Twitter are fully on board with what John Aldridge suggested about signing Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min.

Aldridge told The Irish Independent this past weekend that although he couldn't see Spurs selling the South Korean, he was good enough for Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side.

The 26-year-old scored 20 goals in all competitions for Tottenham last season, but many were of a major significance.

Here's how fans of the Anfield club reacted to what Aldridge suggested:

Liverpool supporters are right to want him, but it wouldn't happen in a million years.

The Merseysiders, who beat Mauricio Pochettino's side to the Champions League title earlier this month, aren't going to be spending huge amounts on players this summer - and that's what it'd take to prise Son from North London, a very big amount.

The former Bayer Leverkusen attacker is contracted to the Lilywhites until 2023 and, given his importance to Pochettino's side, he won't be going anywhere.
