Leeds United are keen on bringing back Jack Harrison on loan, the Yorkshire Evening Post report.

Harrison spent a year on loan last year, but joined at the end of July and missed pre-season under manager Marcelo Bielsa.

Bielsa is famed for his intense fitness regimes, and Harrison is ensuring he is in top shape.

He has been in New York during his summer break and is pushing himself with extra fitness sessions.

Leeds are reported to be focusing on loan deals this summer as they look to build on an impressive first season   under Marcelo Bielsa.

Harrison had an inconsistent spell at Leeds, but some bright moments too, which included goals against Derby, Millwall, and Sheffield Wednesday, and an assist in the play-offs.

A second season under Marcelo Bielsa would be sensible for his career at this point, but Manchester City may have other ideas.

Harrison for his part is ensuring he is ready regardless.
