Rangers have already secured four summer signings, and are now closing in on number five in the form of winger Sheyi Ojo.

The Gers have brought in Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie and Greg Stewart, whilst Steven Davis has signed a permanent deal after a strong end to his loan spell from Southampton.

Despite landing three attacking players, Steven Gerrard is set to add another, with Liverpool winger Ojo all set for a move to Ibrox, joining ex-teammate Gerrard at Ibrox.

The Scottish Sun reported this morning that Ojo had agreed a move to Rangers, and he’ll pen a season-long loan deal with the Gers, bolstering Gerrard’s options.

Fans are waiting for confirmation, but eagle-eyed supporters may have spotted that the SNS Group have posted a gallery of photos from Rangers’ return to training today.

One of those photos is Ojo arriving at training, meaning he has already started his Rangers career, and he should be confirmed as the latest Ibrox arrival imminently.

After disappointing loan spells with Fulham and at Reims in France, Ojo will be looking to kickstart his career again, with the 21-year-old needing to take inspiration from Ryan Kent.

Kent had poor spells in the Championship and abroad with Bristol City and Freiburg respectively before starring at Ibrox, and Gerrard will be hoping that he can get the best out of Ojo in the same way.
