Liverpool and Everton are reportedly interested in David Neres of Ajax.

Reported Everton and Liverpool target David Neres has told The Liverpool Echo that the Premier League interests him.

Neres is one of the best young wingers in Europe and has been linked with Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton.

According to Le10Sport, Liverpool are interested in signing the 22-year-old winger from Ajax in the summer transfer window.

According to The Telegraph, Everton and Arsenal want to secure the services of the Brazil international.

Neres has said that he has always wanted to play in the Premier League, and believes that it is the best domestic league in the world.

Neres told The Liverpool Echo: “I try to stay focused on what’s happening on the pitch, and on the competition I’m playing in. I leave those things to my agents to deal with.

“Of course the Premier League interests me. It’s the best league in the world, and I’ve always wanted to play there.”

Good signing for Liverpool or Everton

Neres is only 22 years of age and is not the finished article yet, but there is no doubt that the Brazilian has a lot of talent and has huge potential.

The Brazil international winger would be a good signing for Liverpool or Everton in the summer transfer window.

According to Whoscored, Neres made 20 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for Ajax this past season, scoring eight goals and providing eight assists in the process.
