As Aston Villa begin preparations for the Premier League, they have been touted for a move for Brentford's highly-rated winger Said Benrahma.

When Aston Villa were in the Championship, star man Jack Grealish was regarded by many as the best player in the division and he is now deservedly playing Premier League football with his boyhood club.

But it seems as though the 23-year-old thinks that there is a player of more quality than him in the second tier of English football because he liked a Twitter message saying that reported Villa target Said Benrahma is 'more talented' than him.

The Sun have previously claimed that Villa will have to pay £20 million if they want to secure the services of Brentford's Benrahma, who dazzled one and all in the Championship last season.

As you can see below, the popular Villa fan page 'Villa Views' suggested that the price suggested for Benrahma is worth it and that the versatile attacker is a 'more talented' player than Grealish - an opinion Grealish seemingly agreed with.

It is a mouthwatering prospect for Villa supporters in seeing the likes of Grealish, John McGinn, Benrahma, Anwar El Ghazi and new hitman Wesley share the same field next season in the Premier League.

At this moment in time, that is not the case, but given Villa's Premier League status and spending power, it won't be a surprise to see them come to some sort of agreement with Brentford for their versatile attacker.

If the Algerian does join the club then he will challenge El Ghazi, Andre Green, Jota, and even Jonathan Kodjia for a place out wide - with the latter being deployed in that position last term by Smith.

Benrahma worked under Dean Smith at Griffin Park prior to him making the switch to Villa Park in October and guiding his boyhood club back to the promised land.
