The Everton winger has been strongly linked with an exit from the club this summer.

According to a report from Turkish media outlet Takvim, Besiktas board member Umut Guner will travel to England in the coming days to hold talks with Everton over the possibility of signing Ademola Lookman.

The 21-year-old joined Everton from Charlton Athletic in January 2017, for around £11 million according to BBC Sport, but he has struggled for regular action at Goodison Park, making just seven Premier League starts for the Toffees.

The pacey winger left the Blues for a loan stint with Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig 18 months ago, but since then, his career seems to have stagnated with the Merseyside club.

And now Turkish publication Takvim claims that Lookman could be inching closer to an exit from Everton, with Besiktas official Umut Guner set to jet into England to discuss a potential deal for the 21-year-old ace.

The Daily Mail claimed last month that Everton are looking to recoup round £20 million for Lookman's signature, but whether Besiktas can come up with that kind of cash remains to be seen.

And if Everton fans are honest, £20 million for Lookman would surely have to be considered as excellent business for the Merseyside outfit.
