Some Leeds fans respond to Izzy Brown's Huddersfield tweet

Leeds fans unimpressed with departed loanee Izzy Brown.

Leeds United hoped to have pulled off a masterstroke with a deal for Izzy Brown last summer.

While they knew he was to arrive injured, the hope was that he would make a big impact at the end of the season.

Instead Brown's only real contribution came for a trophy winning under-23 side. He did not win over Marcelo Bielsa, and made only two appearances from the bench.

 

His loan has now ended and Brown bid a respectful goodbye, thanking fans for sticking by him.

He still has a Leeds picture as his profile photo on Twitter, and so fans were annoyed to see him respond positively to a tweet about rivals Huddersfield Town.

Brown starred on loan for the Terriers three seasons back, and they have just been relegated back into the Championship with Leeds.

Brown's message did not go down well with Leeds supporters.
