Leeds United reportedly want Luca Connell, but it is Celtic who are claimed to have made an offer.
The British tabloid had claimed last month that Leeds were planning to make a move for the 18-year-old, who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder.
It was reported that Bolton would have to be paid a compensation fee of £300,000, but it seems that the youngster is heading to Celtic.
According to a report in The Scottish Sun this week, Celtic have opened talks over the signing of Connell from Bolton and are the only club to have made an offer.
It was always going to be tough for the Whites to convince Connell to move to Elland Road given the stiff competition they faced.
Back in April, The Sun claimed of interest in the Republic of Ireland Under-19 international from Wolverhampton Wanderers, Everton, Tottenham Hotspur and Watford.
