Celtic want to sign Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull in the summer transfer window.
Celtic have revealed on their official Twitter page that they have been unable to reach an agreement with the agent of Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull.
The Glasgow giants have announced that they have reached an agreement with Scottish Premiership rivals Motherwell over the transfer of Turnbull this summer.
According to The Daily Record, that fee is £3 million with £250,000 in add-ons.
Celtic have announced on their official Twitter page that they have been unable to reach an agreement with the midfielder’s agent.
The Scottish Premiership giants have also stated that if Turnbull and his agent do not accept the offer that they have made, then they will simply move on.
Currently, we have been unable to come to an agreement with the player’s agent.#CelticFC is content that it has made a magnificent offer and it is now up to the agent and player to decide if the player wants to join Celtic.— Celtic Football Club (@CelticFC) June 14, 2019
If not, we move on. (2/2)
It seems that Celtic are not going to increase their offer to Turnbull, and it will be interesting to see what the midfielder and his agent now decide to do.
According to The Daily Record, Celtic chiefs are angry with the 19-year-old’s agent, and believe that he is trying to use the Glasgow giants to send the midfielder to a club in England in the summer transfer window.
