Aston Villa fans are said to be trying to buy Tyrone Mings from Bournemouth after an impressive loan spell with Dean Smith’s side.

Some Aston Villa fans are becoming a little nervous over whether they will land Tyrone Mings this summer.

Villa took Mings on loan from Bournemouth in January, and he enjoyed a wonderful spell at Villa Park.

The powerful defender stepped straight into Dean Smith’s side and was a major reason behind why they were able to earn promotion.

Villa have been negotiating a permanent deal for Mings for much of the summer so far.

However, the Birmingham Mail suggest that Villa haven’t made the progress in the transfer that many fans were hoping.

Indeed, there is a suggestion that Villa could be waiting a few more weeks before finding out whether they can land Mings or not.

And some Villa supporters are starting to panic that they miss out on the defender.

If Villa don’t manage to land Mings it would be a major blow to the Midlands side.

The 26-year-old is already a hugely popular figure at Villa Park, and finding another target of similar ability would be very difficult.
