West Ham United supporters on Twitter have lauded their player Marcus Browne, who is being linked with a move to Celtic and Rangers this summer.
Goal have claimed that Hammers academy product Browne is attracting the interest of Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers, who may have to wait if they want to sign him this summer.
It is said that the Premier League club want to look at their player, who impressed at League One side Oxford United last season, before they decide on what they should do with him.
Some West Ham supporters on social media echoed those thoughts as they feel he should be given a chance in pre-season.
Others think he could be part of Manuel Pellegrini's side next season, with a number lauding the attacking midfielder's qualities on the ball.
It remains to be seen whether Browne will be on the move again this summer, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him breaking into West Ham's starting XI in the near future.
Perhaps taking yet another step up and moving to the highly-charged pressure cooker that is Celtic or Rangers might help his cause, as well as West Ham's and the club he could potentially join.
Whilst West Ham haven't had players breaking through their academy at will in recent years, they are known to have one of the best academies in England and it seems another star player is coming off the production line.
Here is a selection of West Ham fans on Twitter reacting to those Browne reports:
Either over charge as hes a youngster or keep him for the future.— Tony (@WHUFC_Tony) June 12, 2019
I think we should send him to Celtic or Rangers for a season.— ⚒ (@DeccersTekkers) June 11, 2019
If Lanzini leaves I say keep him. The lad has played against real men for a season and has done well from what we’ve heard. Have him around the squad/bench as back up to the CAM position.— Then Like My Dreams (@tlmdwhu) June 11, 2019
Let him have pre season same as Cullen and Holland and get a good look at them before making any decisions these players could be needed next season after we clear out fringe players— will earle (@willearle_) June 11, 2019
Get Fornals in and use Browne as a squad player.— R. Jones ☆ (@RockyWhu) June 11, 2019
I'd back him too do well tbh.
He is the one out of all the youth I want to succeed at the club. Really versatile as well looks like he has everything needed for the prem— Mike Hare (@mhare641) June 11, 2019
