Could Liverpool resurrect their interest in the France international this summer?

Liverpool fans on Twitter are excited by fresh reports about a certain Nabil Fekir.

It's that time of the year again for Liverpool as new rumors emerge that they're still interested in the Lyon star.

According to Le Progres, the Reds haven't given up hope on the possibility of bringing the French attacker to Anfield this time around.

The Champions League winners pulled the plug on a £53 million deal last summer amid concerns about a knee issue, but Fekir went on to play 33 times for the Ligue 1 side in all competitions last term.

Bizarrely, it has been claimed in France [Foot Radio] that €15 million (£13.3m) would be enough to convince Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas to sell.

Here's how Liverpool supporters reacted to the new report about possibly going back for him.

If - and it's a massive IF - Aulas really is willing to sell for £13.3 million then it's a no-brainer for Liverpool.

Even if they have concerns over his knee, there's so little to lose and a hell of a lot to potentially gain if Fekir stays injury free, as he has done in recent years for Lyon.

Then again, it could be a prime example as to why this time of the year is referred to as 'silly season' and time will tell if there's any substance to the rumour that Jurgen Klopp is still interested.
