Tottenham have been linked with a move for Hirving Lozano.

Tottenham Hotspur were linked again with a move for Mexico international Hirving Lozano, with CalcioNapoli24 claiming they are battling Serie A interest.

Lozano scored against Tottenham with PSV Eindhoven last year and The Mirror linked him with a bargain £25 million move.

But comments from Dutch football expert Marcel van der Kraan cast doubt on why any club will be moving for him.

He says this is due to Lozano suffering an injury late in the season.

Van der Kraan told Sky Sports: “Sadly for him, on the last day of the season he suffered quite a bad injury.

“He needs months to recover and it is not an ideal situation for him to move now.”

Lozano had a prolific season for PSV, netting 19 goals and providing nine assists.

He would have been an ideal addition for Tottenham at just 23-years-old.

Now it appears he will have to wait. At best he could be a last ditch addition.
