Everton have a very difficult Christmas period coming up, when they will face Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool side again.

Everton fans have hit back at Sky Sports, who suggested that ‘winter was coming’ for the Toffees.

Everton have a very difficult December, when they take on Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal.

Marco Silva’s side did manage to beat three of those sides last season though, and they also held Liverpool to a 0-0 draw at Goodison Park.

Everton’s Twitter account has now suggested that they are not fazed about their difficult December fixtures.

The line about the ‘wind’ was particularly eye-catching to Everton fans, as they think it was a dig at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

Klopp claimed to Sky Sports that ‘the wind’ had played a part in helping Everton claim a draw against Liverpool earlier this season.

And Everton supporters loved the reference that the club made on Twitter.
