Celtic fans have been angered by suggestions in the Daily Express that Brendan Rodgers could move for Kierney Tierney and Callum McGregor this summer.

The Leicester City boss left Celtic in February, and is reportedly considering raiding his former club for their top talent.

Both Tierney and McGregor are said to be in Leicester’s sights, as Rodgers looks to use his Parkhead contacts to benefit himself this summer.

But Celtic supporters are desperate for any potential transfer not to happen, as they feel it would be a bitter pill to swallow.

Rodgers has already severely damaged his relationship with Celtic fans after leaving for Leicester, and the potential double deal would only ruin his reputation with the Glasgow side even further.

Rodgers did a brilliant job at Celtic, but Bhoys supporters are frustrated that he left them part way through the season.

Both Tierney and McGregor have, rather importantly, never suggested that they are looking to move to the Premier League - so whether they would even be interested in a reunion with Rodgers at Leicester remains to be seen.
