Celtic and Rangers will resume their battle next season when the Scottish Premiership campaign kicks off in August.
Celtic supporters on Twitter have expressed their delight at Jonny Hayes's putdown of a Rangers fan on social media after he tried to troll Mikel Lustig.
As reported by the Daily Record, one Gers fan decided to mock the potentially departing Lustig by stating that he was a 'great servant' to the Light Blues, with Hayes responding by simply saying that he's 'done well with all them trophies'.
The video message by Lustig, whose contract at Parkhead runs out at the end of this month, is anything to go by then it seems as though he will be leaving the Scottish Premiership champions.
Nonetheless, Hayes will feel he has got the last laugh for the treble treble winners, who dominated Scotland's domestic scene once again during the recently concluded campaign.
Added with that, Neil Lennon, who replaced Brendan Rodgers in the dugout in February, guided the club to their eighth Premiership title in a row as they will no doubt be looking for number nine next term.
But Steven Gerrard will have other ideas as he will be looking to better the second-placed finished he produced in his debut campaign at Ibrox and as a first-team manager.
Whatever happens during the summer transfer window, both in terms of ins and outs, it will play a pivotal role as the fixtures for the new Scottish Premiership season are set to be released later on this month.
A selection of Celtic supporters on Twitter have reacted to Hayes mocking Rangers:
