Roma star is reportedly interested in joining Tottenham.
The 22-year-old is said to be keen on a move to a Champions League club, with Tottenham among his preferred targets, report Calciomercato.
Pellegrini's Roma future is uncertain, due to a change in management.
The Italian international's representatives are claimed to have been in London this week.
Pellegrini has a £31 million release clause in his contract, making him an affordable transfer target for Tottenham.
This past season he scored three goals and provided six assists from 26 starts.
Pellegrini may be interested in Tottenham, but how keen the Premier League side are is uncertain.
The last player Tottenham signed from Roma was Erik Lamela, who has had a mixed time in North London.
Here is a look at how Tottenham fans reacted to the reports...

Sick player and not in the Ndombele mould so wouldn’t be unhappy at all if we got both. Plus, he becomes amazing in fm!— L Warner (@LVWarn) June 11, 2019
