Kabak, 19, only joined Stuttgart from Galatasaray in January, but his outstanding performances meant that he ended the season with the Rookie of the Season award.
The Turkish talent sadly couldn't keep Stuttgart in the Bundesliga though, and having been relegated from the top flight, Kabak is now a wanted man again.
It's believed that West Ham have made it known that they want Kabak, and the can force a bargain €15million (£13million) move thanks to a release clause in his contract.
That's lofty competition for West Ham to challenge, but Kabak has already made one bold move by joining Stuttgart, and the Hammers will hope that the lure of first-team football can help them win the race.
Adding another talented youngster alongside Issa Diop could give West Ham a solid back line for years to come, whilst also being able to learn from the likes of Winston Reid and Fabian Balbuena.
That £13million price is a snip for a Premier League club, and whilst Bayern and Tottenham are daunting to take on, West Ham will feel they have plenty to offer the 6ft 1in centre back.
