Marcelo Bielsa's decision to stay ensures
It's unclear if Leeds United will choose Bailey Peacock-Farrell or Kiko Casilla to be the club's number one goalkeeper next season.
They do have consistency in the coaching department at least, seeing off interest from Spain in goalkeeping coach Marcos Abad.
Spanish outlet Onda Cero report Spanish second division side Elche made Abad a top target this summer.
But they have given up after manager Marcelo Bielsa pledged his future to the Whites.
Abad came to Leeds in 2017 along with technical director Victor Orta.
He had joined Orta at Middlesbrough six months earlier, leaving Elche after seven years at the club.
Consistency is good for Leeds, and could help Bailey Peacock-Farrell's development.
However goalkeeping has been a constant problem issues at Leeds for the past two seasons, from Felix Wiedwald through to Casilla's play-off blunder.
As such its tough to know whether Abad staying is a gain for Leeds, or an opportunity missed to be forced to bring fresh ideas to the table.
