Celtic have reportedly made their move for Luca Connell.
According to Sky Sports, Celtic have made an approach to sign Bolton Wanderers midfielder Luca Connell – even with David Turnbull on his way to Parkhead.
The Bhoys have agreed a £3million deal to sign Motherwell ace Turnbull, who racked up 16 goals in all competitions this season as well as seven assists.
The 19-year-old looks set to join Celtic imminently, and he isn't the only teenage midfielder Neil Lennon is moving for if reports this evening are to be believed.
It's claimed that Celtic have also made an approach to Bolton, aiming to secure the signature of youngster Connell ahead of a host of other clubs.
Connell, 18, has emerged through the Bolton ranks, and his committed performances made him a shining light in a dismal campaign both on and off the pitch for the Trotters.
The midfielder even earned a call-up to the Republic of Ireland senior squad under Mick McCarthy, but he was forced to pull out through injury.
Lennon's move is exciting for the future, but bringing in two midfielders may lead to questions about some midfielders at Parkhead, with some surely joining Scott Allan in leaving.
Eboue Kouassi, Nir Bitton and Olivier Ntcham may be primed for the exit, whilst bringing in two teenagers may hint that Ewan Henderson will be offered up on loan, as Lennon surely can't keep adding midfielders without letting some go – even if only temporarily.
