According to the Guardian, West Ham United want Ozan Kabak from Stuttgart and if they get him they could have a defensive foundation to build around for the next decade.

Kabak is still only 19, but his performances in Germany have quickly caught the eye.

If West Ham could add the Turkish centre-back to their squad then Manuel Pellegrini’s side would have some of the best defensive prospects in Europe in their squad.

West Ham already have England international Declan Rice at the London Stadium, and Issa Diop also seems to have an extremely bright future.

With Kabak involved too, West Ham’s defensive trio could be set for a decade.

Diop and Kabak could play at centre-back for the Hammers, with Rice sitting just in front.

And if the trio all went on to fulfil their potential at the London Stadium, then West Ham would have a rock solid foundation to build their team around for years to come.
