The Fortnite servers were down earlier today at 09:00 BST, but the Battle Royale game is back online and Epic Games has announced the patch notes for update 9.21.

Everything you need to know about Fortnite's Horde Rush
In addition to a plethora of weapons and items, along with missions and systems, Epic Games' patch 9.21 brings to Fortnite a limited time mode called Horde Rush.
The new and limited mode is divided into multiple stages, and it allows players to team up into groups of four.
Battle Royale participants defend an area by acquiring outlandish weapons, scavenging materials, and building defences, and they then attain points by fighting Fiends and destroying Fiend Spawners.
Players are then given a respite to search for more equipment while travelling across the map to the next point of defence.
Fortnite gamers will want to seek special loot chests that contain powerful weapons and score bonuses, and they will also need to be aware that respawning is only enabled until the last stage where players have to destroy a Boss Fiend and his ensemble of minions.
The Horde Rush mode arrives on June 13, and you can check out all the weapons, items, and general fixes provided by patch 9.21 by clicking here.
