Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose could potentially leave the club this summer.
Danny Murphy has suggested that Danny Rose should move to Manchester City after he admitted that he doesn't know whether he will be at the club next season.
During the recently concluded campaign, whilst Rose didn't play week in, week out, he was a regular under Mauricio Pochettino and even started the Champions League final defeat in Madrid.
Speaking to Jim White on TalkSport (10/06/2019 at 11:40 am), former Premier League midfielder Murphy reacted to Rose's comments about his future.
"I think he's being playing very, very well," Murphy told TalkSport. "Towards the end of the season, anyway. I think he had that year in the wilderness where he didn't play very much. But I think he's a terrific player when he's bang at it.
"I don't think he'll struggle [to find a club]. In the last couple of months, he has probably been one of [Spurs'] best players. I think there will be takers.
"Well, he asked to leave a couple of seasons ago and they didn't let him. Man City? They need a left-back. They could [reunite Rose with Walker], but he [Guardiola] likes Zinchencko though. So, you wouldn't get two young ones and get one ready-made one maybe. It depends whether they let Mendy go. I don't think United will go in for him because they have Shaw. Liverpool don't need him."
After bringing in zero players during the previous two transfer windows, the last thing Tottenham will want is to lose their key players this summer.
At first, the likes of Pochettino and Daniel Levy will be very keen on adding to the current squad so they can take that next step in the ladder.
If that means selling a key player in order to raise funds to boost the squad in other positions then that wouldn't be a bad choice given some of the comments certain players have made in recent weeks.
