Some Aston Villa fans are tweeting the Brentford winger, Said Benrahma.
It comes after Sky Sports reported that Villa have had a bid turned down by Brentford, who are said to want a 'huge offer' to consider selling Benrahma.
The Algerian was brought to Brentford with the current Aston Villa manager, Dean Smith, was in charge at Griffin Park.
And his debut campaign yielded 28 goals or assists in 45 games across all competitions.
Understandably then, many of a Villa persuasion would welcome Benrahma to Villa Park this summer.
And some are urging the 23-year-old to try and force his employers' hand...
@Benrahma2 you know you want to call yourself a premier league footballer. Hand in that transfer request x— Harry (@HJMav) June 10, 2019
Benrahma will push a move through himself. Why would he want to stay at tiny Brentford when there is a massive opportunity for him to be playing premier league football next season. Transfer request imminent #avfc https://t.co/wWAC0J1BK5— Harry (@HJMav) June 10, 2019
Until Benrahma walks in the office and hands In a transfer request because he wants to play premier league football https://t.co/6xn5s3Pqw9— Ben Barton (@BenBarton90) June 10, 2019
It's a shame Brentfords greed is getting in the way of @Benrahma2 becoming a Premiership footballer next season. Playing for @AVFCOfficial is one of the most prestigious clubs in England, could have been a great opportunity for him to establish himself in a youn villa side.— Rico Suave (@shahislam007) June 10, 2019
Aston Villa have already added the former Birmingham City winger, Jota Peleteiro, to their ranks having secured promotion back to the Premier League.
Another of Smith's former Brentford players, Jota has traded places with the Villa midfielder, Gary Gardner - a lifelong Birmingham fan who spent last season on loan at St Andrew's.
Will Aston Villa get their man in Brentford's Benrahma?
