The Toffees did not have the best of starts in the Premier League, which saw them win just one of their first six games. However, Silva's style eventually went into effect as Everton had a phenomenal end to the campaign, losing just two of their last 11 games.
Speaking about the manager's philosophy, Coleman explained what Silva expects from his full-backs in a game.
"The manager wants his full-backs to get forward as much as possible. That's something he really wants, and you can see that on the other side [of the pitch] with the season that Lucas has had - he's chipped in with a lot of goals and assists," he said.
Digne was clearly one of the signings of the season and he has had an incredible impact on Everton's campaign.
The Frenchman created more chances and delivered more crosses than any other defender in the Premier League and Silva deserves lots of credit for his performances.
Coleman also credited his goal to the manager's philosophy and claimed that he and Digne often interchange their roles.
He said "He doesn't maybe like us both going at the same time so for Lucas to shoot and for me to score [against Burnley] might have been a bit of a rare occasion, but he does encourage me to get forward as much as I can.”
Everton fans should be excited about the direction their club is going and Silva's brilliant style of play is sure to pay off next season.
