Is Wes Nelson in Men in Black: International? Love Island vs MIB

Men in Black: International dir.

It boasts an impressive star-studded cast, but is Wes Nelson in Men in Black: International?

The unexpected sequel of the summer is almost here, but is Wes Nelson in Men in Black: International? Can it be true? The renowned English TV personality has appeared across such shows as Dancing on Ice, along with numerous talk shows, but this would be a jump.

It's the fourth series of hit reality show Love Island which many still associate him with. After all, he made it to the final, competing against winners Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham in 2018.

He's turned up in a few places since, of course. However, we really didn't expect him to break in with Men in Black: International...

Love Island vs MIB

Recently, Nelson appeared in an advert for the forthcoming sci-fi flick, appearing alongside Love Island co-star Josh Denzel

The former took to Instagram to share the fun dose of marketing, along with the caption "We’ve joined the Men in Black, Agent W reporting for duty!".

They may both be suited and booted, but are inevitably questioning whether it's for real. Are the boys really starring in Men in Black!?

Is Wes Nelson in Men in Black: International?

Odd cameo or simply a bit of fun for an advert?

Well, it looks like Nelson's ties to the franchise fall under the latter. He isn't credited as a cast member on the project's IMDb page, nor is there any material elsewhere to suggest a role in the blockbuster.

With the return of Love Island to our screens recently, perhaps the marketing team just thought it'd be a fun crossover. It's a certainly a cool advert, but admittedly, it's left some scratching heads.

Men in Black: International release date

It may not be Will Smith suited and on screen, but when we have Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson - Thor: Ragnarok co-stars - centre-stage and looking sharp, there's no cause for panic.

Men in Black: International looks like a blast, so be sure to check it out in UK cinemas on Friday, June 14th 2019.

In other news, where was Danny Boyle's Yesterday filmed?
