Olivier Ntcham joined Celtic in the summer of 2017.
The former Celtic striker believes that Ntcham probably wants to follow in the footsteps of his former Hoops teammate Moussa Dembele and earn a big move away.
Dembele left the Glasgow giants for Lyon in France in the summer of 2018 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £19.7 million.
The 22-year-old was a massive success at Celtic from the summer of 2016 until the end of the 2017-18 campaign, and the French striker scored 15 goals and provided four assists in 21 starts and 12 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Lyon this season, according to WhoScored.
Sutton wrote about Ntcham in The Daily Record: “There are major doubts over his long term future in Glasgow with Porto and Marseille reportedly keen on him.
“Ntcham was a huge disappointment last season and he might have seen Moussa Dembele getting his multi-million switch to Lyon and do very well and now he possibly fancies a move himself.
“Celtic will want decent money for Ntcham but if you watched him last season why would anybody pay big figures for him?”
Ntcham has been on the books of Celtic since the summer of 2017 when he joined from Manchester City for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £4.5 million.
The 23-year-old Frenchman played well for the Hoops during the 2017-18 campaign, but the midfielder failed to replicate his performances for the Glasgow giants in 2018-19.
