Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United have been linked with Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham Hotspur have rejected Real Madrid’s invitation to make a £75 million bid for Gareth Bale.

It has been reported that Spanish and Europeans giants Madrid are desperate to sell Bale in the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old winger has struggled with injuries in recent years for Los Blancos, and his performances when he has been fit have not been great.

During the 2018-19 campaign, Bale made 21 starts and eight substitute appearances in La Liga for Madrid, scoring eight goals and providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

The Wales international joined Madrid from Tottenham in the summer of 2013 after establishing himself as one of the best players in the Premier League during his time at the North London club.

According to The Mirror, both United and Tottenham have turned down Madrid’s invitation to make a £75m bid for the former Southampton winger.

The report, though, has claimed that the Red Devils are planning to make a loan move for the Welshman with with an option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.
