Manchester United reportedly want to sign the Tottenham Hotspur ace.
The Guardian claimed back in the summer of 2017 that Spurs turned down a £50 million offer from the Red Devils for the England international, but his form has nosedived since then, and he will surely be worth a lot less now.
The 25-year-old joined Tottenham from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2014, for a fee believed be worth £4 million, according to BBC Sport, and he has gone on to make 209 appearances in all competitions for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
Dier has been overtaken in the central midfield pecking order at Spurs by Harry Winks and Moussa Sissoko this season, however, after an unfortunate spate of injuries, and it would be no surprise to see him moved on this summer.
Some Tottenham fans took to Twitter today, and had their say on the rumours linking the England international with the exit door...

Sounds fair, it has been said he would be a great signing for a mid-table side.— Chris Mardell (@mardell_chris) 7 June 2019

Clubs moved on and improved, sadly he hasn't. If we get £30m reinvest on Poch shopping list— Garry (@GarryWoods1) 7 June 2019
Seems to have lost his way, not the same player these days— mark coome (@THESnafu) 7 June 2019
Just been unlucky with injuries... Dier is a useful player to have in the squad. Good utility player— H. (@hayretkamil) 7 June 2019
Dier for Martial.. or even Sanchez on the cheap?!— DC (@DCTottenham) 7 June 2019
That would be a massive mistake. Quality player, hugely underrated, wouldn’t swap him for any of utds. Would be improving a team that could close the gap with us.— Scott Clay (@scotthclay) 7 June 2019
