Leeds United star knows his ex Wolves teammate Helder Costa well.
The Yorkshire Evening Post report Leeds United are keen on a deal for Wolves winger Helder Costa.
Costa would improve Leeds in attack, and he would also help get the best out of former teammate Barry Douglas.
Douglas signed for Leeds for £3 million last summer from Wolves with big expectations.
Injuries wrecked the Scotsman's season, but when he was fit, his form was inconsistent.
It was a shame, because his 14 assist and five goal season for Wolves in 2017/18 showed what he was truly capable of.
Adding Costa on the opposite flank can help him, with the Portuguese attacker a beneficiary of some of Douglas' assists.
One of Costa's goals in 2018 came against Middlesbrough, when he rifled home a smart chipped cross from Barry Douglas in a 2-1 away win.
This favour was returned in a win over Brentford, when Douglas latched onto a Costa through ball to score in a 3-0 victory.
The two players know each other, their movement and ability on the pitch, and off the pitch Douglas could help Costa settle too.
It would be a smart move from Leeds, and help one of their existing assets get even better.
