It has been reported that a couple of Sunderland’s academy players will move to Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

As part of the deal, according to the report, there have been talks between the Black Cats and the Reds, and that at least one youth player from the Premier League club will move to the Stadium of Light to spend time on loan at the League One club next season.

Promotion challenge

Sunderland failed to win promotion to the Championship via the League One playoffs this campaign, and Jack Ross’s side will be determined to make things right next season.

The Black Cats have a good team, and if they are able to make some key signings in the summer transfer window, then they will have a very good chance of winning the League One title next season and clinching promotion to the Championship.
