Reported Leeds United January transfer target Daniel James is leaving Swansea City for Manchester United.

Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Daniel James’s move from Manchester United to Swansea City.

As announced on United’s official Twitter page today, James is set to join the Red Devils from Championship club Swansea in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that the Red Devils have agreed terms, in principle, with the Welsh outfit over the transfer of the winger.

According to Sky Sports, United will pay Swansea an initial transfer fee of £15 million plus £3m in add-ons for the services of the Wales international.

Leeds wanted to sign James in the January transfer window, but the move from Swansea did not come to fruition.

According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, James was set to join the West Yorkshire outfit from the Swans on loan in the January transfer window with a view to a permanent transfer for £9m if Marcelo Bielsa’s side were promoted to the Premier League.

However, according to the report, a late disagreement over the payment of the loan fee saw the transfer collapse.

Leeds fans have given their take on Twitter on James moving to United from Swansea this summer.
