Southampton are reportedly keen on signing the French youngster.

According to a report from French media outlet Poteaux Carres, Southampton are interested in signing Saint-Etienne teenager William Saliba.
Another French publication, Le 10 Sport, claims that the Saints will face competition from Manchester United for the £26.6 million rated centre-back.
Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl will surely be keen to strengthen every single department of his quad this summer, and Saliba, 18, would be a real coup.
The young Frenchman made 19 appearances in all competitions this season, and really impressed in the heart of Saint-Etienne’s defence.
Standing at 6ft 4in tall, Saliba is a strong, towering centre-back, and he seems to have all of the ingredients needed in order to succeed in the Premier League.

The Frenchman is also a wonderful reader of the game, and his football intelligence is surprisingly impressive for someone so young.
Should Hasenhuttl manage to bring Saliba to St Mary’s, he really would be a great addition for Southampton, and it would be a sign of real intent from the south coast outfit.
