A number of Premier League and La Liga sides are eyeing a move for highly-rated Caen defender Alexander Djiku this summer.

Centre-back Djiku was one of Caen’s shining lights last season despite their relegation from Ligue 1.

Djiku made 35 appearances in all competitons for Caen last season and his impressive displays have brought him on the radar of a number of sides across Europe.

The likes of Getafe, Celta Vigo, Leganes and Serie A outfit Udinese have all shown an interest in the powerful central defender as they look to bolster their defensive options ahead of next season.

Scouts from a number of Premier League clubs have also been keeping tabs on Djiku for some time with the Crystal Palace and Fulham both linked with the Frenchman in the past.

Caen are facing a battle to keep hold of in the wake of their relegation from Ligue 1 and they are bracing themselves for offers for the defender.
