Everton supporters on Twitter have provided mixed views on reports that they want to sign Benfica's Andrija Zivkovic this summer.

CM Journal have claimed that Benfica have told Everton that Zivkovic can be purchased this summer, but they won't accept anything less than £31 million.

It is said that the Toffees recently contacted the Portuguese club to ask about the 22-year-old's availability, with Marco Silva a big fan of the player.

Some quarters of the Goodison Park support like the idea that they are being linked with such a talented footballer ahead of the new season.

But others aren't too keen on the versatile attacker because of the price being mentioned and the fact that he has featured sporadically for his club during the recently concluded season.

Here is a selection of Everton fans on Twitter reacting to the Zivkovic's reports:

Over the course of the recently concluded season, Zivkovic made 30 appearances in all competitions for Benfica where he supplied seven assists for his teammates [transfermarkt].

With the summer transfer window up and running, Everton will be keen to add new faces to their squad in their bid to secure European football next term.
