West Ham United could be on the look out for a striker and West Bromwich Albion forward Jay Rodriguez is available for £5m.
West Ham United fans have suggested that they should move for Jay Rodriguez, as he is available for just £5 million from West Bromwich Albion.
The Hammers need to bring in more quality up-front, with Lucas Perez leaving and Javier Hernandez set to depart.
And West Ham supporters have suggested that moving for the West Brom forward would be a smart move.
Yep…… Good player, pace and can finish.— Simon Brewer (@SimonBrewer20) June 4, 2019
I’d take him as a back up option. He was a pretty decent striker before he got injured— Steve Brooker (@Hammer_Brooker) June 5, 2019
Definitely. Horrendous injury few years back after England call up but seems very decent business if 5m correct.— mike warren (@mikewarren66) June 4, 2019
He’ll yeah – JRod is awesome. He gives his all . Made like 22 goals last season— New Orleans Hammer (@thehollander) June 4, 2019
heck yeah at that price— Jeb Hill (@memphistigerjeb) June 4, 2019
Decent option to be fair— Just Some Geezer (@Juicedmoose) June 4, 2019
Better than Perez— E20 HAMMER (@Under5ives) June 4, 2019
Yes got pace and has scored in the prem but only as 3rd choice bargain if 5 mil is true— Adam Wills (@adamtimothywill) June 4, 2019
Rodriguez scored 22 goals in the Championship last season for West Brom, and seems to have got his confidence back.
The 29-year-old was making great progress in the Premier League back in 2014, only for a cruciate ligament injury to prove a huge set-back.
Rodriguez seems to be over those problems now though, and a move to West Ham may well appeal, as he looks to get back to playing top flight football.
If Rodriguez was to move to the London Stadium he would be in competition with Marko Arnautovic for a striking place.
