Aston Villa have released Albert Adomah, and the winger would be a good signing for Leeds United.

Aston Villa have released Albert Adomah, as announced on their official website, and Leeds United would be wise to make a move for the winger in the summer transfer window.

In August 2018, The Birmingham Mail reported of interest from Leeds in Adomah, and now that the former Middlesbrough winger is a free agent, the Whites should reignite their interest.

The Ghana international is very experienced at the Championship level, and that will come in handy for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in their quest to win promotion to the Premier League.

With Jack Harrison having returned to his parent club Manchester City and Stuart Dallas not exactly a great winger, Leeds could do with someone like Adomah who scores goals and creates chances.

The former Middlesbrough winger made 24 starts and 15 substitute appearances in the Championship for Villa this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the Ghana international made 37 starts and made five substitute appearances in the league for the Villans, scoring 14 goals and providing five assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
