The Liverpool full-backs have been mighty impressive this season.
The Englishman and the Scot have been two of the Reds' best players this season, contributing both defensively and in the final third.
Between them this term, they have racked up an incredible 29 assists in 88 combined appearances in all competitions for Liverpool.
They have played a key role in the Merseyside outfit's successful campaign this season, both domestically and on the continent, and it could be argued that they are now two of the first names on Jurgen Klopp's team-sheet.
And Mourinho absolutely raved about the Liverpool stars, when speaking exclusively to RT, suggesting that they both have a good arrogance, are aggressive and have amazing character:
“The two full-backs also have to be Liverpool players, amazing players, Alexander-Arnold and Robertson. Amazing character and personality. Alexander-Arnold is a local boy, Robertson is a Scottish boy that a few years ago was relegated with Hull City. And both they are physical, they are aggressive, they are what I call in football ‘the good arrogance’, they are not afraid to play, they go forward, they participate in attack."
The duo are so important for Liverpool, and they still have plenty of years left ahead of them playing at the very highest level.
And if the Reds are to go on and end their 29-year wait for a top flight title, they will surely have to be at their very best once again next season.
