Everton fans have their doubts about the potential signing of Santiago Sosa from River Plate.

Ole have claimed that Everton will sign Sosa, providing that they can get a work permit for the Argentinian.

Everton have already agreed a fee of around £13 million with River for the midfielder, who has been scouted as a star of tomorrow.

But there are some Everton supporters who feel that Sosa’s signing would be an error.

The 20-year-old has only made a limited amount of first-team appearances in Argentina, and Everton fans are questioning whether he will ever develop into a starting player at Goodison Park.

Getting a work permit for Sosa could be difficult for Everton, as the youngster is not yet capped for Argentina’s national side and he has not fully broken into River Plate’s starting line-up.

Everton already have a strong contingent of South American players at Goodison Park, and Sosa would be another exciting talent to add to their squad.
