Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will be keen to strengthen his options at Anfield this summer.
Liverpool should be aiming to sign RB Leipzig's Timo Werner and Valencia ace Gonçalo Guedes according to BBC pundit Don Hutchison.
The Reds enjoyed a wonderful campaign this season both domestically and on the continent, but Jurgen Klopp will still be keen to bolster his ranks at Anfield this summer.
Quite who the German will have in mind, however, remains to be seen.
Liverpool do have all of the ingredients needed to go all the way in the Premier League next season, but the addition of one or two top class players would obviously not go a miss.
And Hutchison urged his former club to move for Timo Werner and Gonçalo Guedes this summer, when speaking during a guest appearance on BBC Radio Five Live:
“I would go for Timo Werner at RB Leipzig. It’s only a matter of time before Bayern Munich try and buy him. He’s the right age, he’s 23. Another one is Gonçalo Guedes at Valencia. He’d be good for them. I could see him in a Liverpool shirt.”
Quite how much Liverpool will have to spend this summer remains to be seen, but Klopp will surely be backed heavily, after guiding his side to their sixth European Cup.
And if the Merseyside outfit do go on to spend big this summer, they will have every chance of ending their 29-year wait for a top flight title next season.
